Petrel Sport Sea Kayak Plans - PDF

This 16' x 21" [4.9m x 53cm] kayak is designed for both comfort and performance in active water. With a nearly plumb bow and stern, it offers a longer waterline in a compact package, allowing for quick speeds and easy handling. Its stable design provides confidence and comfort in rough conditions, while the roomy cockpit can accommodate larger paddlers for efficient and powerful paddling.

The Petrel Sport is also versatile, with ample storage for multi-day trips and agile maneuverability for day paddles. The plans include detailed construction techniques, dimensions, and optional features for this versatile kayak, as well as instructions for building the coaming and installing either flush wooden hatches or watertight rubber hatches.

Additionally, the plans provide instructions and measurements for installing hatches, bulkheads, and other necessary components.
