Nick and his wife Robin sought a hassle-free boat for evening paddles and found the Mystic River Tandem canoe, designed by Nick to be a joy to paddle, comfortable, and efficient.
This canoe's classic, graceful lines and strip-planked construction make it well-suited for various settings, from drifting through the Adirondacks to crossing Maine's harbors. Exploring the waters of Groton and Mystic, Nick and his wife appreciate the long waterline and fine entry that enable efficient and speedy traveling. This canoe has good stability and can handle a reasonable load, although it's not as spacious as a cargo canoe.
Designed for fast, lightweight touring, the Mystic River Tandem serves as an ideal first project for those interested in building a cedar strip canoe.

Included in the Plans:
- Eight 24" x 36" [61cm x 91cm] Drawing Pages including: An overall drawing, a full size "stacked" form drawing showing all the forms and then all the forms drawn individually and at full size.
